Since the arrival of Symbian Anna update , we have been waiting for the next upgraded Os ,the Symbian Belle.

(UPDATE : Symbian Belle update coming soon........... )

But now the wait seems to getting over within a week or so as From DailyMobile, there’s DannyCanRock – remember that name? the guy who leaked the first Belle. On the 12th November, he said:

This is not pretty sure but some other rumours have spread that Belle update is going to roll out for previous Nokia devices from 18th November onwards.

Remember , Few Months back Nokia itself made an official statement that :

Lets hope that the information is true and Symbian Belle will be delivered to all Symbian^3 devices next week or as quickly as possible for Nokia.

Nokia's development community just got its first taste of near field lovin' with the first Qt SDK to support NFC. While you'll be forgiven if you're not up in arms over the latest revelation, owners of the company's latest handsets can soon expect a greater number of useful apps that take advantage of this newfangled technology. The developer tools enable the creation of applications for both Symbian and MeeGo, and allows software authors to simulate NFC tags and create events based around them -- all within the virtual environment. Programmers looking to dip their toes into the water will find a couple of experimental apps from Espoo's pride that highlight near field communication, along with the complete source code for each. Sounds like it's time for some to make a pot of coffee and let the coding madness ensue.
Nokia’s popular Social Networking Client for Symbian^3 smartphones has been updated to version 1.3.237 and is available for download now. Nokia's Social Networking client allows you to See live updates from your favorite social networks pushed to your home screen. With social-enabled Contacts, now you can see what your friends are up to right from the Contacts card. Import Facebook events directly into your phone's calendar. Update your status with location and points-of-interest. Seamlessly send photos and videos from your phone camera —shoot, add a caption, and share.

With the new option to import Facebook events directly into your Nokia smartphone's calendar, you need never miss a party or event again, as every important date can be easily carried across from your Facebook account to your phone.
You can also automatically update your Facebook status with your current location or POI (Points of Interest), wherever you travel. And when you take a new photo or record a video on your Nokia Symbian smartphone, you can instantly add a caption and upload it to share with your friends and family.

Nokia’s Social Networking Client v1.3.237 is available now for your Nokia Symbian smartphone and can be either downloaded direct to your Nokia phone or from the Nokia Store.

Finally , Nokia Ovi store got an update(ver. 3.16.036)  for Symbian Belle/Anna Devices featuring the symbian Belle Look for Anna Devices.

The old Ovi Logo with green color has been replaced by Nokia Store having blue color.
The new update version is based on QT QML and seems to be upgraded one from the last version (ver. 3.16.034) which was available on Beta Labs.

You can update your Store Client Any time by just opening it, the client will prompt automatically for the update. The update size is approx 6.5mb. Please keep in mind that update may not be available everywhere. So be patient for the update to come to your region

A quick update for everyone:

You should now have the latest Ovi Store client. How can you check it? If you open the Store on your Nokia smartphone and check the version under the Account Tab > Help > About, you should have a version number of at least 2.12.xxx.
However, some of you with new Symbian phones (e.g. Nokia N8) were unable to complete the installation of the latest Store client. If this happened to you, the Ovi Store team has released a stand-alone installation package which contains an updated version of the Ovi Store client. It also updates some middleware used by the Store and many other apps.

You can download it from http://lr.ovi.mobi/store/client-symbian-3/ directly to your new Symbian device. When prompted for the installation destination, please choose the C: drive. Confirm all prompts during the installation. Note that additional middleware components may be downloaded to your device if they require updates.
Finally, the total download size can be larger than 10 MB, so you may want to be connected via WLAN while performing this update over the air.

As I understand it, some S60 devices got an updated Ovi Store with the cool new blue look and Ovi Store branding. My C6-01 hasn’t got this yet, but some folks with Belle seem to.

Antonio posted this pic and quite rightly, it’s looking awesome. I very much welcome this classic but cool Nokia blue.
